Winter Depot - 2014

Description

During the 2014 winter season in Antarctica the operations and logistics equipment used for the iSTAR science traverse was stored on Pine Island Glacier in preparation for the 2014-2015 summer season science traverse.

Equipment was stored at site 20 of the science traverse in a straight 1.5km line so it could be easily retrieved on the 2014-2015 science traverse.

Equipment stored during winter included:

- Caboose

- Skidoos

- Fuel bladders

- Lehmann sledges

- Poly sleds

- Neutron probes
